1. What is a zine?
➵ A zine is a physical and/or digital collection of original artworks and/or written pieces crafted as part of a collaborative effort between multiple individuals! After a creation period, it is made available online for purchase for a limited time only.2. What is this zine's theme/concept?
➵ This zine's theme is exploring Jimin, Taehyung, and Jungkook's relationships, whether platonic or romantic, across different myths and legends. There are four subsections, each one focusing on a different theme:➀ Journey, which features any of the stages towards heroism;
➁ Fate/Love, which focuses on happy endings or star-crossed lovers, and other stories of people who are destined for one another, whether for good or bad;
➂ Hubris, which focuses on shortcomings and downfalls, exposes the angstier side of things and allows for themes of redemption, enemies to lovers, and the tragedies of life.
➃ Hedonism, which will be our exclusively digital side zine, focuses on the pursuit of pleasure.➵ For more details on each section, check out our about section.3. Do contributors have to portray romantic relationships in their pieces?
➵ Nope! Love is not solely romantic, and platonic love is just as wonderful, just as beautiful. Each section has the potential to feature nonromantic relationships in some capacity, such as queerplatonic and platonic relationships. We want creators to have free reign while also staying true to the theme! We will not limit stories to solely romantic love being portrayed ♥4. Will contributors be compensated for taking part in the zine?
➵ Yes! Each and every contributor is guaranteed a free, digital version of the zine as well as 50% of the profit (after production and manufacturing). Ideally, we would also like to provide a free physical bundle to all contributors but this will depend on how sales go.5. Will this zine allow minors to apply?
➵ Unfortunately, no. To apply to this zine, you have to be 18+ or older internationally at the time of application.6. What themes/concepts are strictly prohibited for this zine?
➵ For your application, the following content is strictly prohibited: incest, pedophilia, bestiality, non-con, dub-con, any depiction of abuse or harassment between the main characters, mpreg, underage relationships.If your best works include any of the above, and there is absolutely no way to refrain from including it, then we ask that you properly tag the appropriate trigger warnings for each and every snippet that contains any of the above.If your submissions include NSFW content, we also ask that you tag that appropriately as well. As well, please tag any other triggering content.➵ For your final submission to this zine, the same restrictions from your application apply. However, we now add major character death to the list of prohibited themes/concepts for this zine. There will be no exceptions made for the content in your final submission.Other things, such as hybrids and omegaverse, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. We want this zine to be a happy, safe, and fun experience for everyone involved. As well, we want our mods to be safe. These content restrictions are in place to assure just that!
